Meet the Board

Sarah

Sarah Gun
CEO

The GOGO Foundation is on a mission to create an inclusive workforce for all. I established the GOGO Foundation after witnessing the positive impact of paid- work on people who were experiencing homelessness at my social enterprise GOGO events, where we have created over 750 job outcomes for 85 at-risk individuals over a 5 year period. The GOGO Foundation is an expansion of this life-changing work. I am a Westpac Social Change Fellow, a SHEEO Venture, an internationally award winning social innovator and a South Australian Woman of the Year.

Chair

Through collaboration with Sarah I have been inspired by her energy and innovation in spaces that others often fear to go to, especially in creating greater opportunity and equity for women. I came to know the Inclusive Work Program as a mentor, and I am now delighted to join the GOGO board! I bring with me expertise from my current role with the Department for Environment and Water SA and board roles across multiple sectors, and a passion for making a difference in creative and impactful ways.

I have been so lucky to have worked as a teacher, a cook, a project officer, a TV producer, a community support worker and a PR consultant. At the core of each of these roles is my love of people and the world. I have known Sarah for 35 years and have worked closely with her for the last three so when she invited me to join The GOGO Foundation Board, I jumped at the chance to be involved with a passionate and innovative change-maker like her.

Harriet

I am a graphic designer, creative content producer, ideas woman and digital specialist. After several years of exploring the world I have returned to Adelaide to use my skills and passion with the GOGO Foundation and Breakthrough Mental Health Research Foundation. I want to make the world a better place through art and design, sprinkling creative flair on everything I work on with clean, concise and effective designs.

I have worked with Westpac Group for twenty years, and currently as Executive Manager Risk and Compliance. I am also the Chairperson of Women of Westpac SA/NT. In all those years I’ve always loved uniting people behind a clear vision and change program. I initially joined the board observer program to gain a different experience and perspective of governance processes in the not-for-profit sector. I am thrilled about transitioning to an ongoing role to support the GOGO Foundation mission and support such a worthwhile cause.

Mayra

Mayra Ykeizumi
Administrative Assistant

Born and raised in Brazil in a family with strong Japanese traditions, I've always shown interest in cultural diversity. I have worked for several years with positive impact projects, navigating the world of social enterprise, management of nonprofit organizations, as well as facilitating networks focused on sustainable tourism and associative production, income generation, entrepreneurship, and women empowerment. Collaboration and co-creation all inform parts of who I am.
